Getting Started as a Gnomer

If you'd like to start gnoming, feel free to use any information on this blog, and I'd LOVE it if you wanted to send YOUR visitor here to share where your gnome is as well!! Email me with any links or photos of your gnomes for me to post here!!

Copy and Print this image for including you YOUR Postal Gnome package.

Include this information inside...
Hello!! This is (your gnome's name here)!!
You've been Postally GNOMED!!
What is Gnoming?
v. The act of visiting a neighbor (or in your case mailing a package to a FRIEND) in secret and leaving a garden gnome for them to find. Gnoming should be done in the spirit of friendship and community, and it is NOT to be undertaken by the hardhearted or grumpy!
Please pass this gnome on by shipping it as soon as you can, to a friend that you feel could use a good gnoming!! You can reuse the packaging and this note when you ship this gnome on. Shipping cost should be around $8.00 in the USA. Please change the mailing address ONLY, not the return address.
Visit http://thegnomer.blogspot.com for more information, and to see where your gnome has been! While you are there, leave a comment to let us know where your gnome is NOW!! There is an email link on the site. THANK YOU for playing!!
If you don't wish to play, that's OK too!! IF you don't, we would TRULY appreciate it if you would email and let us know so that we can make arrangements for the gnome you have to be returned!!

Use this for Gnoming in person!!

I hope that you will play along, and keep your gnome for a few days in your home before passing him on. He is a reminder that someone thought that you would have the lightness of heart, and playful spirit that gnoming requires. HAPPY GNOMING!!!

Here are some guidelines for Gnoming.
1. Your gnome should stay within the town where you live.
2. You can email me and let me know where you left him, so I can place a dot on our map.
3. Be sure to leave the instruction tag with your Gnome when you leave him.
4. Choose a friend or neighbor that you may or may not know well, but that you think will play along.
5. TRY to keep your gnoming a secret. It's SO MUCH fun to sneak to a porch and leave without being noticed!!
6. Place the Gnome in a visible area, so he doesn't get overlooked!!
7. If you've BEEN Gnomed, let me know where you are, in case your gnomer didn't tell me where our gnome was headed!
8. Whether you've BEEN Gnomed, or are Gnoming... leave a comment here in the comments area!! I'd love to hear from you!!
If you'd like to, you can get your own gnome, and start a NEW gnome ring, and let me know about it!! The more the merrier!!
Visit http://thegnomer.blogspot.com for more information and to leave a comment telling me you've been gnomed!
